Basic Personal Care: Bathing, grooming, dressing, personal hygiene.
Homemaker: Cleaning, dusting, changing bed linens, laundry, trash, dietary.
Chore: Wash walls, clean closets, pest control etc.
Advanced Personal Care: Toileting, ostomy/catheter hygiene, bowel/bladder routine, use of transfer devices, medication reminders, treatments, dressing changes, passive range of motion etc.
Respite: Allows the caregiver temporary relief of their duties.
Nurse Visits: (Services provided by a licensed nurse only)- Medication setups, skin monitoring, injections, maintenance or preventive services etc.
Participants Must:
Have active Medicaid coverage
Be a Missouri resident
Be at least 18 years of age
Have a medical condition/diagnosis/disability that would
qualify for a higher level of care outside the home
In-Home Attendants Must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Pass a criminal background check
(Waivers may be issued in certain circumstances)
Note: Caregivers cannot be an immediate family member of the participant
(spouse, parent, child, grandparent, grandchild).
